Improvements in battery technology and inevitable rises in oil price will drive this. Here we compare future electric cars - those shortly to be released to the market. Manufacturers know future electric cars will be of vital importance to them. They are busy trying to make a breakthrough in battery technology because if they can secure the sole use of a more efficient storage system they would be a front runner in future electric cars. Future electric cars will be cheaper, more efficient, lighter and more powerful than current electric cars. We can expect the range of future electric cars to increase substantially and recharge times to decrease.
